DocSort operates completely offline and does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your Documents: All document images remain in your Photos app and are processed locally on your device
• Personal Information: We don't collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personal identifiers
• Usage Data: We don't track how you use the app, which features you access, or what documents you organize
• Location Data: We don't access or collect your location information
• Device Information: We don't collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or technical information about your device
• Analytics: We don't use any analytics or tracking services

2. How DocSort Works

DocSort uses on-device machine learning to process your document images:

• Local Processing: All document detection and classification happens entirely on your iPhone using Apple's Core ML framework
• Photos App Integration: DocSort accesses your Photos app only with your explicit permission and only to read document images
• On-Device Storage: Document metadata (categories, dates) is stored locally in your device's secure storage
• No Cloud Sync: Your documents and data never leave your device

3. Permissions We Request

DocSort requests the following permissions to function:

Photos Library Access

We request access to your Photos library to:

• Detect and identify document images in your photo library
• Display thumbnails and full images of your documents
• Organize documents into categories

Important: You can grant limited access to specific photos or full library access. DocSort works with both options. All processing happens on your device.

4. App Store Subscriptions

DocSort offers optional Pro features through App Store subscriptions:

• Payment Processing: All subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
• Subscription Management: Your subscription is managed through your Apple ID and App Store account
• No Payment Data: DocSort never sees or stores your payment information
• Apple's Privacy: Subscription transactions are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy

We only receive a subscription status (active/inactive) from Apple to enable Pro features. No personal or payment information is shared with us.

5. Data Security

Your data security is ensured through:

• Device-Only Storage: All data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms
• No Network Transmission: DocSort doesn't transmit any data over the network (except for App Store subscription verification)
• iOS Security: Your data is protected by iOS security features including device encryption and app sandboxing
• No Third-Party Services: We don't use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services

6. Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Photos Access: You can revoke Photos access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Photos
• Delete Data: Deleting the app removes all locally stored data
• No Account: DocSort doesn't require an account, so there's no data to delete from servers
• Subscription Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription anytime through App Store settings

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

8. Third-Party Services

DocSort uses the following Apple services:

• StoreKit: For processing App Store subscriptions (subject to Apple's Privacy Policy)
• Core ML: For on-device machine learning (all processing happens locally)
• Photos Framework: For accessing your photo library (with your permission)

These are Apple's native frameworks and do not transmit data to third parties.
